Madame Hessel et la Manucure by Édouard Vuillard c.1906 is a painting depicting the artist's close friend, Lucy Hessel, and a manicurist. Vuillard was a frequent and intimate visitor to the Hessel's home, the wife of his art dealer Jos Hessel. The painting reflects his long-term relationship with Lucy, showing a quiet, domestic scene of her having her nails done, captured in Vuillard's signature style of patterned surfaces and rich color.

Aged gold with a real metal finish applied in the mold for a warm, heirloom feel. Finished with hand-buffed antique wax for a museum-quality low luster.
Classic black with pigment mixed directly into the plaster for a deep, matte look that won’t chip or flake.
• At 1.8 lbs, it has a satisfying bit of weight to it and feels solid rather than delicate, with pre-installed hanging hardware so it’s easy to hang.
