The woman in this painting is Charlotte Corinth, the artist’s wife, and judging by her surroundings, I’m going to guess her favorite color is blue, closely followed by pink, florals, and maybe patterns that don’t necessarily go together. It’s like a snapshot of someone totally content and definitely someone who owns more than one silk robe.
