If you’re expecting something lightweight and forgettable, this will probably surprise you. The art paper is archival, the frame is a plaster relief cast from a mold made from a rare antique frame, and everything is put together by hand. It has a way of settling into a room like it’s been there for years.

Aged gold with a real metal finish applied in the mold for a warm, heirloom feel. Finished with hand-buffed antique wax for a museum-quality low luster.
Classic black with pigment mixed directly into the plaster for a deep, matte look that won’t chip or flake.
• At 2 lbs, it has a satisfying bit of weight to it and feels solid rather than delicate, with pre-installed hanging hardware so it’s easy to hang.
